Who We Are

Ghana's Creative Education Pioneer

The Multimedia Institute of Ghana — known simply as MIG — is a private tertiary institution dedicated to media, creative arts, and business education. Established around 2015, MIG was born out of a bold vision: to give Ghana's aspiring creatives access to world-class, practical training without having to leave the continent.

From our flagship campus near Opera Square in Accra to our growing Kumasi campus at STC Junction, Oforikrom, MIG serves hundreds of students each year with certificate, diploma, and advanced diploma programmes that are directly aligned with industry needs.

2015

Foundation & First Campus

Multimedia Institute of Ghana opens its doors at Opera Square, Accra, welcoming its inaugural cohort of journalism and media students with a clear mission: hands-on creative education.

2016

CTVET Approval

MIG receives official approval from the Commission for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (CTVET), validating its programmes as nationally recognised qualifications.

2018

ICM International Affiliation

MIG affiliates with the Institute of Commercial Management (ICM, UK), enabling students to earn internationally recognised certifications alongside their Ghanaian qualifications.

2020

Kumasi Campus Opens

A second campus is established at STC Junction, Oforikrom, Kumasi, bringing MIG's practical media education to Ghana's second-largest city and expanding access for Ashanti Region students.

2022+

Digital & Flexible Learning

MIG introduces flexible learning formats including part-time and online options, making quality creative education accessible to working professionals and students outside Accra and Kumasi.
